Dating is all about trying to figure out if a person has what it takes to fulfill God's vision and purpose for marriage with you.
Boundaries are required because the need for intimacy rises as you are on the road to marriage. You'll be hard-pressed to find a couple who regrets the dating restrictions they set, but you'll almost certainly find those who wish they had set more. Boundaries protect, and this is where trust is built.
Because you're together, do the people in your lives know and love Jesus more? Do they notice God's love and truth at work in you and your relationship as you go about your daily lives together? Are you and your partner planning ahead of time to bless and lead your friends and family to Christ?
